So the idea I have is to make a versatile solution for "plugging" in Momentary push switches (or any push switch for that matter) .  I thought of using 3.5mm audio jacks and connectors to facilitate this but not sure if it would work.


For instance, using the following kit, it would be nice to be able to not solder or screw in the triggers but instead, you could simply plug in a trigger for the 4 corresponding locations.

I have been thinking about doing the same thing for push button on desks. I was also briefly thought about rj11 connections but fear that being misunderstood. Did you test this? I am only needing create continuity between 2 points.
