This excellent hookup wire was chosen specifically for its easy of use in lightsaber builds. After carefully trying a variety of wire we selected this silicon coated stranded wire. Silicone offers better flexibility and ease of use when compared to Teflon (PTFE) while still maintaining its temperature resistant qualities. Stripping this wire is a breeze.
