Our new KTA-382 combines the features of the previous KTA-282 and GWY-141 models. It connects a Davis Instruments Weather Station to a Modbus network, supporting both TCP and RTU protocols. PoE power version available.


The KTA-382 Modbus gateway enables easy connection of a PLC, RTU, or SCADA system by Modbus RTU or TCP to one of the following Davis weather stations:

  • Cabled Vantage Pro 2
  • Cabled Vantage Pro 2 Plus
  • Wireless Vantage Pro 2
  • Wireless Vantage Pro 2 Plus


The gateway connects to the weather station's console via the Davis WeatherLink cable (Weather Link for Vantage Pro Serial) and becomes part of the Modbus network as a Modbus TCP/IP or RTU slave. This enables your SCADA system or other Modbus devices on the network to monitor and take action based on data such as wind speed, wind direction, temperature, and more.
