A light lock is an optoelectronic system that creates a light barrier via a laser beam. As long as the sensor receives the light beam, the system is at rest. As soon as the light barrier is interrupted, the sensor starts an action.This light lock from Velleman has a detection range of 7 m and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation thanks to its IP44 protection rating. Use this light lock as an access detector or, together with Velleman's PEM7D/C counter, as a pass-by counter for access systems.
