Description: The HCM508BA1 is a high end 3D digital compass, capable of resolving magnetic north with better than 0.5 degree accuracy and 0.1 degree resolution. Patented 3-axis flux-gate technology uses hard magnetic and soft magnetic algorithms to maintain course accuracy over a wide range of tilt angles, even in magnetically noisy environments.
The unit is housed in a rugged aluminium enclosure rated to IP67. All electronics are military grade. Operating temperature range -40°C to 85°C.
