Description: The RFM69HC is a radio module operating in the unlicensed frequency band (Industry, Science, and Medicine) at 315, 433, 868, and 915 MHz. This frequency spectrum is intended for radios with low power, short range, and without a license. It's ideal for building cost-effective short-range wireless networks of sensors and actuators for home automation, education, and more. The transmission power and speed can be adjusted to fit your application. For instance, you can maximize range by increasing the transmission power and decreasing the data rate, or reduce both for short-range sensor networks that minimize battery consumption. The RFM69HCW radio shield uses an SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) to communicate with a host microcontroller, and several reliable Arduino® libraries are available for it.
