This signal generator is designed for easy monitoring and troubleshooting in, for example, audio equipment. The waveforms (sine, square wave, or triangle) and the output can be easily selected by setting jumpers. The frequency is fixed (1 kHz), and the output level is adjustable. The soldering kit works with a 9 V battery (not included).
