**If unsure if you have Windows 10 or Windows 7 hardware, you will get the "check cable" error message when you have windows 7 hardware on the new PM66Q Windows 10 software. So you need to uninstall the PM66Q software and instead install this legacy PM66 that is required for Windows 7 hardware.
